We are also an art hotel, and art is important to us, which is why we operate a small gallery in the hotel lobby. The "smallest art gallery in Graubünden," the "Gallaria d'Art" at the Hotel Pitschonia, regularly invites artists to exhibit their works.

Our current guest artist is:

Roland Rick Rickenbacher, Aarau

Roland Rickenbacher lives in Aarau and has worked for over thirty years as a freelance advertiser, graphic designer, and event organizer. For several years now, he has devoted himself primarily to his cartoons and three-dimensional figures.

In 2004, he spent his first stay at the "Magun" alpine pasture in Andeer to intensively explore "wordplay cartoons." During this time, his first three-dimensional works were created. Further creative stays in Andeer followed in later years. At the end of 2004, his first major cartoon exhibition took place in Aarau. Further exhibitions followed in Basel, Bern, Olten, and Aarau. During his time on "Magun" and in the village of Andeer, he developed wonderful friendships and created unforgettable memories of his time in Andeer.

Who doesn't know Rick's charming figures with their tongue-in-cheek messages?

The gallery is permanently open and accessible 24 hours a day. Please note that the gallery is under video surveillance for security reasons.
